Impossible Engineer Rubbishes Daniel Andrews Car Crash Claims

‘Impossible’: Engineer rubbishes Daniel Andrews’ car crash claims

Daniel Andrews has doubled down on his “ludicrous” car crash alibi after an engineer sensationally debunked his version of events.

The Victorian Premier has repeatedly claimed that he suffered five broken rips when his car hit a tree in March 2021 – but a new report has found this is “medically impossible”.

The report, commissioned by the Herald Sun, found that the force of the crash would have caused Andrews’ ribs to shatter, not break.

It also found that Andrews’ injuries were not consistent with his claim that he was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.

The engineer who wrote the report, Dr David Logan, said that Andrews’ claims were “impossible”.

“The forces involved in this crash would have caused Mr Andrews’ ribs to shatter, not break,” Dr Logan said.

“The fact that he didn’t suffer any shattered ribs suggests that he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.”

Andrews has repeatedly denied these claims, but he has refused to release his medical records to prove his injuries.

The Herald Sun has made several attempts to contact Andrews for comment, but he has not responded.
