The Boston Celtics took down the Cleveland Cavaliers 120-113 in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference semifinals matchup on Monday night. Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 25 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists.
The Celtics started the game slowly, falling behind 14-2 to the Cavaliers. However, they rallied back to take a 29-24 lead after the first quarter. The Celtics extended their lead to 10 points in the second quarter, but the Cavaliers closed the half on a 10-0 run to cut the deficit to 54-51 at halftime.
The Celtics came out firing in the third quarter, rattling off a 14-0 run to open the period. The Cavaliers never got closer than 5 points the rest of the way, and the Celtics eventually pulled away for the 120-113 victory.
